Bosch announced software release 6.0 for the DICENTIS Conference System. This version comes with support for DICENTIS Hybrid Meetings.

This software update enables DICENTIS Conference System users to benefit from the full functionality of DICENTIS Hybrid Meetings. DICENTIS Hybrid meetings give the possibility for participants that are not physically present in the meeting room to join a meeting from a location using a web-browser. The participant license defines the available functionality for both the on-premises and remote participants. For each participant, a participant license is needed. For each participant that wants to join from a location a hybrid add on license is needed. Up to 100 participants can join from remote. Currently the video of 23 remote participants can be displayed simultaneously.

DICENTIS software V 6.0 has seen significant changes to the Activation tool. Registering the system is now done via the Activation tool. Adding licenses / Activation IDs can be achieved via the Activation site. Other enhancements mean that the Activation tool now shows a progress indicator for online registration and refresh. The new software will also allow the Activation tool to show progress for offline processing of license files.
