Gartner has just released its 2020 Magic Quadrant for Transportation Management Systems1 report, and we are honored to be positioned as a Leader once again.
This is the 13th time we have been named a Leader in transportation management systems (TMS), and of 13 companies evaluated, we were placed based on our completeness of vision and ability to execute for Oracle Transportation Management Cloud – part of Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) Cloud.
According to Gartner, “TMS technology is on the rise. The latest Gartner forecast on TMS, worldwide, estimates that the market is growing at a five-year CAGR of 11.12% (from 2018 to 2023). Factors such as the need to reduce costs; improve internal productivity, efficiency and customer service; increase visibility; and make better use of capacity are driving the growth of the market through 2022.”
To manage ever-increasing supply chain complexity, organizations are seeking the business-wide benefits delivered by increased agility and visibility across their supply networks. In addition, COVID-19 has magnified the need for highly resilient and streamlined supply chains, so essential goods and supplies can reach those who need them most without delay.
